Redevelopment Submission Form

Help RetailRemix find great redevelopment and repositioning projects.

If you would like to propose that RetailRemix profile a shopping center redevelopment or repositioning project, just complete the form below.  This is obviously open to developers, architects and planners who work with these type of projects, but it is also open to anyone who has been a redevelopment that they liked or heard of one that interested them.

In addition to providing content that is educational and inspirational for developers, architects, and city planners, RetailRemix uses the following criteria for determining what projects to profile on the blog:

Redevelopment:

  • A shopping center (or any other retail property) that is redeveloped (redevelopment can include a major face-lift, razing and rebuilding all or a major portion of the property and/or general upgrades and modernization).
  • A property of another initial use (industrial, office, etc) that is redeveloped into a retail shopping center.
  • A retail property (or another initial use) that is developed into a mixed-use project that has a significant retail component (the retail component does not have to be primary in use or size, but does have to be more than an afterthought).

Repositioning:

  • A shopping center (or other retail property) that has undergone a modest/major transformation in appearance and/or major expansion and/or change in tenant mix that results in a new and improved identity within the market.

Timing and Location:

  • Timing: Typically we profile projects that are complete, occasionally we will profile a project that is under construction.  Any project completed in the last 5 years is considered recent and up to 10 years may be considered if the project is substantial enough.
  • Location: Anywhere.  RetailRemix has many international subscribers and visitors and believes that there is value in understanding how retail developments worldwide adapt to their local environments.

Submission Form:

Please complete the form below to submit a project for RetailRemix’s consideration.  Again, you do not have to be directly involved with a property to submit it.  If you are let us know, and if you are not, please explain your relationship to the property and if you are aware of who the developer or architects were, there company names or specific contacts would be very helpful.  Website or news links are also very helpful.
